Tarragon, Dried
Chopped version of dried tarragon. Wonderful, unique seasoning for chicken, seafood, lasagna, and egg dishes. Aroma is similar to anise. Always one of the herbs included in “Fine Herbes” blend. Used in French cuisine for many different sauces. Should be added at the end of cooking as too much heat will decrease the flavor. Grown in Eastern Europe, Asia, and Mexico.
